  1. Whereby the author agrees to the publication of their attached story as titled above and, where possible, with suitable images from the attached.
  2. Paradise Press agrees to publish it, should it be accepted. In the event of it not being accepted, the editors agree to notify the author within 28 days, giving reasons and constructive feedback.
  3. Copyright remains with the author, who has sole control of reproduction rights in any medium whatsoever. Paradise Press undertakes to act as agent and pass on any enquiries about a story arising from publication in the magazine within a month of reception.
  4. Appearance in the magazine does not prevent the story being featured in any future Paradise Press anthology, in any Paradise Press competition, or any collection of the author's works.
  5. The author is encouraged to provide suitable illustrations or photos to accompany a text, on the understanding that they are out of copyright.
  6. The author guarantees that this is solely their own original work, and no A.I. has been used in its production. Any liability arising from the discovery of the use of A.I, or of plagiarism will fall on the author.
  7. The author assumes responsibility if any work or part-work is held to be libellous.
  8. The author guarantees that the work has not previously appeared in any publication, nor have they given the rights to publish to any other organisation.
  9. The story may be submitted to other magazine outlets, or to competitions, after a period of one year from publication in Flash PPink, but the author must make clear where it originally appeared. This may affect your ability to qualify for inclusion elsewhere under certain circumstances. The author should always check the relevant rules for submission.
  10. The author permits Paradise Press reasonable use of extracts from the work in promotion of the publisher and the magazine.
  11. Once a piece has appeared it is on permanent display, and not subject to removal or alteration; it is legitimate to submit work as a first draft or work in progress.
  12. The magazine is published free for universal access on the internet, and on this understanding, no royalties are payable.
  13. The author accepts the right of the editors of Flash PPink to cut or amend the story for publication, subject to their agreement to the changes.
  14. The publishers will always give the author full authorial credit.
  15. The publishers will make clear who holds the copyright and, so far as is possible, insist that permission be sought from the holder via the publisher. However, we cannot physically prevent unauthorised downloading.
  16. In submitting your work you are accepting the terms and conditions of this contract.
